Don’t Assume You Have No Options
Under Maryland law, drivers must purchase insurance on their vehicles. In addition to liability insurance, drivers must have uninsured motorist coverage with the following minimum limits:
- $15,000 per person for damage to the vehicle
- $30,000 per person
- $60,000 per accident as related to injuries
Drivers may also choose to purchase up to $2,500 per person in personal injury protection or PIP coverage. PIP is for medical expenses regardless of who is at fault for the accident.
Your insurance company is obligated to compensate you according to the policy you purchased. If the company refuses to pay, they are in breach of contract. We know how to hold your insurance carrier accountable for the compensation you are owed.
You can rely on our experience with insurance policies and insurance companies. Our lawyers know how to negotiate with them. We are also prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
