It’s probably safe to say that most people living in Baltimore don’t worry much about being involved in a car accident while they are shopping inside a store. But for a few people inside a pharmacy in downtown Baltimore, this is exactly what happened recently.
The car accident occurred at a CVS pharmacy located on Light Street. At around 10:47 a.m. on a Friday morning, two vehicles collided. The impact sent one of the automobiles, an SUV, into the front of the pharmacy. The storefront was severely damaged and tire tracks could be seen outside on a flower bed. Three people inside suffered injuries as a result of the accident. A 17-year-old boy’s back was injured, a woman sustained a shoulder injury and a man suffered neck injuries. The drivers of the cars involved were in good condition.
A woman who lives nearby the CVS and often frequents the store heard the crash from her house. A man who works across the street from the pharmacy and was on his way there saw the crash unfold in front of his eyes. He ran to help those injured, pulling them from the wreckage.
A section of Light Street near the pharmacy was closed while the SUV was removed from the store.
The three people who were injured in this accident may wish to consult with a personal injury attorney. A lawyer can advise them on their case and may be able to help get them the compensation they deserve for their pain and suffering and medical expenses.
