Maryland car accidents: Wreck leaves 3 people injured

Police in Maryland are currently investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash in Prince George’s County. It has been reported that three individuals were injured in the wreck. Car accidents with injuries are nothing to take lightly, as these incidents can leave the victims hurting physically, financially and emotionally. Those injured in this particular wreck may be able to seek compensation for any losses that they have experienced as a result.

This car crash occurred on Wednesday, March 9. Pictures of the accident scene show that two vehicles collided at an intersection, causing one of the cars to roll on its top. Three people inside the overturned vehicle — a 2-year-old child, an 18-year-old female and another adult female — sustained serious injuries. Their current conditions are unknown.

At this time, authorities have not indicated what may have caused the crash. It is unknown if any charges are pending against either of the drivers. The investigation is still ongoing.

The victims in this case, as well as other Maryland residents who have been injured in car accidents, may have legal recourse. Personal injury cases require a significant amount of investigative efforts by one’s legal team. However, if negligence is suspected and can be proved against the other driver, a civil court may award each victim monetary relief for any legally recoverable damages — such as for current and future medical expenses and lost wages. Compensation may also be sought for any pain and suffering victims have endured as a result of events similar to this one.
